This project included renovations and an expansion to Elk River’s Public Safety Building which includes Fire Station #2 and the Police Department. The fire station scope included a 3,800 sf expansion to include two apparatus bays as well as a 4,000 sf renovation of the existing apparatus bay and supports spaces. Support spaces will include turnout gear storage room, decontamination areas, locker rooms, showers, kitchen and dayroom. The police department scope included a 12,200 sf interior renovation to improve security and workspace efficiency as well as the buildout of a 4,000 sf second floor shell space.
