This project included the interior remodeling of the Hennepin County Edina Library, located on the upper level of a 2-story building. The project scope involved creating lighter, more comfortable spaces with improved acoustics, an enclosed reading room, collaborative working spaces and a larger children’s area with interactive learning elements. New automated material handling equipment and a workroom reconfiguration were improvements to behind-the-scenes efficiency. Exterior modifications were minor and included a new automated bookdrop.
