Eagan Fire Station #1

Eagan, MN

This project included construction of a new two-story facility that houses five apparatus bays, offices, and lounge and support space for the fire department. A clock tower was also built in the center of the structure with large windows that bring natural light into the station. The fire station was built after the City of Eagan selected to change their fire department from a paid on-call model to a duty crew model where several volunteer firefighters work dedicated shifts to allow response to more minor calls the department receives as well.
