Carleton College Scoville Hall

Northfield, MN

This project included construction management and risk services on Scoville Hall and Johnson House at Carleton College. Minor renovations to Johnson House were undertaken to allow the Career Center to move from its current home in Sayles-Hill Campus Center to a much larger and more visible location at the entrance to campus. Scoville Hall was in need of more significant renovation. Built in 1896 as the College library, Scoville Hall was renovated for office and classroom uses in 1954. Restoring the architectural integrity of the building and addressing issues of accessibility were a primary focus of the renovation, allowing Scoville Hall to become an elegant, public-centered home for Admissions and Financial Aid.
