Overview:
Terra is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM).  The PM will oversee and manage all activities of a project and typically assumes responsibility for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project.  Experience working on projects in the healthcare and education markets is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:  Providing leadership for multiple construction projects, managing budget and schedule development, permitting, construction and project closeout. Additionally, the PM is accountable for contract compliance and administration, project administration systems, administration of safety programs as well as management of assigned job site personnel. The PM is also responsible for leading and directing the project team while maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years of related experience managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes

Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management or a related degree, or relevant years of experience
-
Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project owner specifications and engineering drawings
-
Travel and temporary relocation may be required

Work independently as well as part of a team
-
Self-starter and motivated; needs minimal supervision
-
Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done

Thorough and incredibly detail-oriented with the ability to recognize discrepancies

Strong computer skills including, MS Project and Excel. Experience with Procore preferred

Strong organizational/time management skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time constraints

Effective oral and written communication skills

Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, be customer focused, and display a high level of professionalism, honesty, and aspire to do the right thing at all times

Foster and build relationships with owners, design partners, subcontractors and suppliers

Must possess a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and access to a vehicle

Overview:
Terra is currently seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team. This position is a job site management position and typically assumes responsibility for the administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project.
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to, manage on-site construction activities, budget and schedule development and maintenance, assure quality control, contract compliance and administration, project administration systems management and management of assigned job site personnel, supervising subcontractors on site, coordinating self-performed craft operations, and overseeing equipment utilization on the project. In addition, this person will be responsible for administering site specific safety plans and programs and maintaining owner relations in the field.
Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in all aspects of managing commercial construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcomes

Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management, a related degree or relevant years of experience
-
Experience with construction management software such as CMiC, Procore, Plangrid, Excel, MS Project, Bluebeam, or other project management software.

Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control, and to read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings
-
Local travel may be required

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required

Work independently, as well as, part of a team

Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
