This project created a new security corridor addition to connect the three primary existing academic buildings on the Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf campus. The security corridor now serves as the main entry for the campus and improve safety and security for students, staff and visitors. Adjacent areas were remodeled to include a new administration suite, staff workroom, lunchroom, restrooms and science lab. Additionally, wood shakes were replaced with metal panels and brick on Smith and Quinn Halls, window replacements occurred on Quinn Hall and a lift was added to create an accessible entry on Noyes Hall.
