Terra Construction is taking a proactive approach in regards to the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) out of care for our team members, clients, healthcare workers and our communities. This approach includes implementation of a number of measures effective March 16, 2020. These measures will be kept in place through Friday, April 10th and will be updated or extended as necessary.
All non-essential business travel has been suspended unless the trip is critical and necessary to serve a client's need. In all travel, we will follow the CDC travel recommendations. We are requesting that for any required travel by motor vehicle each team member drive separately so as to avoid close contact.
All outside conferences and vendor events have been suspended.
We are requesting that all meetings be held virtually where possible.
We are strongly encouraging all employees follow the CDC guidelines of washing hands, avoiding close contact and staying home if they're sick. We are encouraging staff in the office or in the field to incorporate social distance protocols.
For any of our team members have potentially been exposed, we are following the CARE guidelines (Check And Report Everyday) for self-quarantining as needed.
We will utilize the technology we have in place to allow us to continue to communicate remotely and deliver on our promise to our clients.
We will continue to monitor the Center for Disease Control's recommendations to guide our mitigation plan while working to balance the needs of our clients. We are encouraging all our employees to take care of themselves and their families during this time. The serious spread of the Coronavirus, COVID-19, continues. Our hearts go out to all who have already been directly impacted by this pandemic.
