Terra General Contractors is providing Construction Management/Owners Representative Services for the window replacement project at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota in Goodsell Observatory.  Terra has overseen the design, bidding and will oversee the implementation of this project in the summer of 2010. Goodsell Observatory was built in 1887 and houses three (3) historic telescopes and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Terra is working with Carleton College’s facilities staff, Professional Design Group of Northfield, Marvin Windows and Met-Con Companies to complete this important project.  The new windows will maintain the historic significance of the building while helping to save energy in all seasons as the existing windows were original to the building.
