Southwest Minnesota State University

Terra General Contractors was recently selected by Southwest Minnesota State University to provide Owners Representative Services on their new 64,000sf Residence Hall in Marshall, MN.  Terra General Contractors’ responsibility is to work with the Architect and Engineers, General Contractor & Subcontractors and Specialty Consultants (roof, wall, windows, curtain wall commissioning) to insure that the design documents and MnSCU’s standards are met.  The project started in the summer of 2008 and will be complete for occupancy in the fall of 2009.  Hay Dobbs Architects provided the architectural services, LKPB Engineers, Inc. has provided the mechanical and electrical design, BKBM Engineers designed the structural systems and also provided the civil design.  Southwest State University is a 4 year public university offering high quality education in the liberal arts.
